Wooden Toy Factory Workshop

How Do We Actually Make Your Custom Wooden Toys?

Curious about how raw wood becomes a finished toy? It’s hard to trust a factory’s quality claims when you can’t see what’s happening behind the scenes.

We make custom toys through a precise process. It starts with CNC cutting of sustainable wood. Then comes multi-layer, non-toxic painting and careful assembly. Finally, every toy passes strict quality control and safety testing like EN71.

How Do We Cut Wood with Such Perfect Precision?

We use advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. A digital design is sent to the machine, which then cuts the wood with incredible accuracy. This guarantees every piece is identical, perfect for puzzles and building blocks.

Our CNC workshop is the heart of our precision manufacturing system. A CNC machine is essentially a very smart, automated cutting tool. First, your approved toy design is converted into a digital file. This file is the blueprint. It tells the machine exactly where to cut, how deep to cut, and what shape to create. The machine then follows these instructions perfectly, every single time. This is a huge leap from traditional manual methods, which can vary from worker to worker and from day to day.

How Do We Ensure Our Paint Is Both Beautiful and Safe?

We use a multi-step painting process in a dedicated, dust-free environment. First, we apply a safe, water-based primer. Then, multiple layers of non-toxic, child-safe paint are applied for a vibrant, durable, and completely safe finish.

We only use paints that are certified non-toxic and water-based. This means they do not contain harmful chemicals like lead, heavy metals, or phthalates. They are completely safe, even if a child puts the toy in their mouth.

How Do We Guarantee Every Single Toy Is Safe?

We guarantee safety through a multi-stage Quality Control (QC) process, combined with rigorous third-party testing to standards like EN71. We check everything from raw wood to the final packaged toy.

Our Rigorous QC Process and EN71 Testing

This is the final, and most critical, part of our factory tour. Our commitment to safety is proven right here. Our Quality Control (QC) process is not just a single inspection at the end. It’s a continuous system integrated into every stage of production.

Here’s how our internal QC process works:

  • Raw Material Check: We inspect all wood as it arrives to ensure it’s free of cracks, knots, or defects.
  • In-Process Inspection: Our QC team is on the factory floor, checking parts after they are cut, sanded, and painted. They use special tools to ensure dimensions are correct and surfaces are perfectly smooth.
  • Assembly Check: As toys are assembled, we check that all parts are secure and there are no sharp points or edges.
  • Final Inspection: Every single finished toy is inspected by hand before it goes into the box.

But we don’t just rely on our own checks. We also send our products to independent, internationally-accredited laboratories for formal safety testing. This is where standards like EN71 come in. EN71 is the European safety standard for toys, and it’s one of the strictest in the world. It involves a series of tests, including:

  • Physical and Mechanical Tests: We pull, twist, and drop the toys to make sure no small parts break off and become choking hazards.
  • Chemical Tests: The lab tests the paint and materials for any trace of 19 different heavy metals and other harmful chemicals.
  • Flammability Tests: The toys are tested to ensure they don’t catch fire easily.

We provide our clients with the official certificates from these lab tests. This is your undeniable proof that the toys you sell are safe, reliable, and meet the highest global standards.
